Contact and Mirror Reports
Report a mirror that no longer resolves, a clone that got through, or a mistake in the list. There is no form on this page. Send an email with the details below, and the list is updated and the verified date moves. The one thing that matters in a report is the address you are reporting, because a report without the address is a report we cannot act on.
Send a report
Email [email protected] with the subject mirror report. Include the address you are reporting, what you observed, and the date you observed it. A report with those three things can be acted on. A report without them is a report we have to ask about, and the address is the one we cannot guess.
What to include
- The onion address you are reporting, copied, not retyped
- What you observed: it did not open, it opened a different storefront, the address did not match the login screen
- The date and, if you have it, the time you observed it
- Which of the three mirrors you were trying to reach, if you were switching
You do not need to include your own details. A report is a report, and the address is the only thing that has to be exact.
What we do with a report
A report that a mirror no longer resolves is checked against the market's own published list. If the market has retired the address or published a new one, the list is updated and the verified date moves. A report that a clone got through is checked against the address in the login screen, because that is the one a clone cannot fake. The list is the market's own published addresses, and the policy is to keep it current. The detail is on the about page.
Before you report
The rule
Report the address, not the feeling. A mirror that did not open for you is usually the circuit, not the mirror, and the fix is on the troubleshooting page. A report is for an address that does not resolve at all, or an address that opens a storefront that does not match the login screen. Those are the two that change the list.
